Get involved
The Homecoming is run by people who live here and a great many who come back to help. There is room for more.
Volunteer
If you have a few hours this week, we could use them. Setup starts Thursday morning, takedown runs through the Tuesday after, and every hour in between needs hands. Gates, food, parking, the kids' corner, and the long unglamorous business of putting a field back the way we found it. An hour is a real offer. Tell us when you are free and we will find you a job.
And if this week is already spoken for, think about the next one. There is a 104th coming, and it will be built by people who turned up once, liked what they found, and came back to help.
Vendors
The Marketplace runs Saturday and Monday, in and around the pavilion and the schoolyard. Monday is the busier of the two by a distance.
- $25 · a table or a spot for the weekend
- $10 · a Saturday-only spot
- Food vendors · a $200 minimum donation
Stay in touch
We are putting together a list so we can tell you about next year's Homecoming before it happens, and share the photographs afterwards. A few emails a year, not more. Your address goes to the Buxton Museum and nowhere else, and you can ask us to drop it any time.
Sponsor the weekend
Businesses and families have kept this weekend going for a century. If you would like to be part of the 103rd, we would be glad to hear from you.
